This is the long over due thank you note that we intended to send since Conquest did the first addition to our house eight years ago. I guess the fact that we used your company for our next project, the expansion and remodel of our kitchen and the expansion of our living room says it all. We find everyone you employ, from your receptionist Mayra, to your project manager Marcos, to be very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The workmanship has always been first rate, and at the end of every day, your crews always cleaned up and left our property in good shape. It has been a pleasure to work with you and your company.

When we decided to add a pool to our backyard we had a hard time finding a contractor. None of our friends would recommend the contractors they had used! Finally my sister said to talk to Jim Korkunis at Conquest GBC because he had done other work in her neighborhood and she had heard good things. We interviewed four contractors for the pool and chose Conquest. Conquest GBC put in our pool in October 2005. The whole process was made easy by Jim's focus on the details and solid communication. The sub-contractors he brought in were professional, there when they said they would be and cleaned up at the end of each day. We got the pool of our dreams and are still loving it.

Conquest General Building Contractors completed a major home renovation and addition for us in 2006-2007 spanning eight months. We found Jim Korkunis and his crew to be professional, reliable, and kept the project moving on time. We have been extremely happy with the outcome of our two home improvement projects with Conquest GBC. The first project was a major interior renovation which included tearing out the dining room, family room and kitchen and replacing a major load bearing wall. (Our downstairs was unlivable for three months). Jim and his crew were ALWAYS on time, reliable, did incredible work, gave us realistic timeframes and most importantly cleaned up at the end of the day. Imagine coming home to a 4 foot pile of dirt in the middle of your family room (due to the foundation work). They were able to keep the chaos to a minimum. Whenever we left a message, he was ALWAYS diligent about getting back to us, if not that same day, within 24 hours. He was also on the job site on a daily basis. Jim worked with us on coming up with a doable budget based on the design plans. Jim had a saying when we asked if he could do something, he said he could do whatever we asked, it was only a matter of what we wanted to pay.

Our second project three years later was a backyard landscape project. This included an in-ground spa, cement patios, patio covers and landscaping. Once again, we had no hesitation in asking Jim to work with us on creating a manageable budget and realistic timeline. We had the same crew and Jim always brought in reliable and economical sub-contractors (paint, landscape and patio covers).

We have no hesitation in recommending Jim and Conquest GBC for either interior or exterior renovations. Having heard of the challenges friends have faced in their home improvement projects, we feel incredibly lucky to have found Jim and his company.
